I ordered my bottle of Jo H2O Anal Professional Lubricant and received prompt delivery (5 days later) in an unmarked brown box which is welcome as I live in an apartment and packages are left in a common area. As the name implies, this is a water based personal lubricant that is intended for back door sessions. The ingredients as listed on the Jo website are Glycerin, Water, Cellulose Gum, Methylparaben, and Propylparaben.

SLICKNESS
This is a measure of slipperiness and will be given a grade of 1-4 where 1 is not very slick and 4 is as slippery as can be. After using this product I assign a grade of 3 for slickness. Water based lubes are not generally as slippery as silicon based lubes, but this one is very slick. An added bonus is that is is extremely long lasting, which can again be a problem with water based lubes. If it begins to lose its slippery nature, a few drops of water (or spit) nicely recharges the lube, making the need to reapply unnecessary.

VISCOSITY
Viscosity is a measure of thickness, and again, I will be using a four tier grading system where one would indicate a thickness of water and four would indicate a thickness of motor oil. The Jo H2O Anal Professional Lubricant is given a grade of 2 for viscosity, where it runs easily but is a touch thicker than water (probably due to the glycerin content). Again, water based lubes tend to be thinner than silicon based lubes, so this should not be construed as a criticism.

SMELL
The smell of the JO H2O Anal Professional Lubricant is completely neutral, meaning that I can't smell anything.

TASTE
The Jo H2O Anal has an unpleasant bitter taste to it, not conducive to oral play at all. But as this is billed as an anal lube, I won't dock it very much on this measure.

Overall, I am quite pleased with the performance of the Jo H2O Anal Professional Lubricant. It is extremely long lasting for a water based lube and is extremely easy to clean up. It is also safe for use on all of your toys, being a water based lube. Silicon and plastics will not degrade when used with this lube. Silicon lubes, in contrast, cause degradation of plastics and rubbers, and should not be used with toys made out of these materials. The one measure that I'm not thrilled with is the taste of this product, but again, as it is sold as an anal lube I can't be too critical on this point. I wholeheartedly recommend this lube for anal escapades, and it functions perfectly well in solo sessions as well. I have tried water based lubes that get sticky fairly quickly after application, and those that lose their slickness very quickly. The Jo H2O Anal Professional Lubricant suffers from neither of these issues, and in fact makes for an extremely sensual experience. Pick up your bottle today, you will love it!
